We help your company seize advantages through Technology. The world is changing at the speed of our technological advancement, that being said, it can be very difficult for us to keep up-to date on the newest ways to reach our customers.
Not only is Technology changing the way that we do business, its also changing the way that our customers interact with us. 10 Years ago you would have been talking to me on the phone asking these questions.. where now, you’re probably sitting in front of a computer, tablet or phone reading it. It is important to know where our customers are, what they are doing, and HOW can we get our product or service in-front of them.. wherever they are.
We use technology to help our clients find their customers and speak to them, wherever it is that they might be.
How does Technology Impact that much us you ask?
We find that a lot of our clients don’t realize exactly how much technology is impacting the world around us. Most don’t even realize how they use it in their day to day living. Here are some unique stats to put things into perspective a bit. These stats are from YouTube alone.
1.3 BILLION People on YouTube
A Staggering 1,300,000,000 (1.3 billion) people use YouTube regularly, and over 5 Billion videos are watched every day! That means that every minute of every day, 90,277.78 Videos are Watched. Keep in mind.. this is only for YouTube.
Did you know that in the US, the Mobile Version of YouTube reached more 18-34 and 18-49 year-olds than any other cable network? 6 out of 10 People prefer online video platforms (like YouTube) to live TV.
There are currently over 1 Billion YouTube views on Mobile Devices Alone! The average viewing session on a mobile device lasts more than 40 minutes. This number is up 50% over last year alone!
Is Pay-TV Service dying?
Research predicts that base on current growth, by 2025, half of the viewers will not subscribe to live TV. They say that in an average month 8 out of 10 people aged 18-49 watch YouTube videos. Bet you didn’t think it was that high.. did ya.
Modern Technology and Innovation
Now that you’ve probably had your mind blown (keeping in mind that these statistics are ONLY based on YouTube, and there are many other online video services). You are probably re-thinking your current marketing strategies, wondering if they are effective anymore. Truth be told, regardless of the media type (Analog – such as Magazines and Newspapers or Digital Media) they are effecive. They are substantially more effective when used in conjunction with each other that by themselves, but at the end of the day, this is all about eyeballs.
You have probably heard from many people that Newspapers and Magazines are dead etc etc, that couldnt be further from the truth. People are still consuming this media daily… it comes down to:
- Am I talking to the right people?
- Does the Cost of the Medium Justify the Return?
- Do you have a cohesive marketing strategy? or are you running your mediums as individuals?
These are all things that we are here to help you make sense of and capitalize on.
Using Modern Key Techniques
I find that many people still advertising in Newspapers and other Analog media, are still paying the same amount of money that they did 20 years ago. While newspapers are still effective, and still reach people, their readership has shrunk in a significant way over the last 20 years…. but have their prices shrank along with their readership?.. Not in my experience. You really have to be able to justify the significant amount of money you are spending for something that isn’t near as effective as it was.
It used to be that if you wanted to really stand out in the marketplace, you needed to spend more in advertising and price your product cheaper than anyone in your marketplace. This is one of the biggest changes in marketing strategies. No longer is it about spending more than your neighbor.. you need to spend smarter! Believe it or not, It is actually possible to be more effective AND spend less money.
Now that we know that we have to build a plan that involves spending smarter, advertising more efficiently and beating up your newspaper rep for a rate that is more in-line with 2018 than 1995. In order to be effective, you need to be in front of your customer everywhere they go, keeping you on the top of their mind throughout their daily routines. This is where our strategies and deployment programs will help you spend smarter, potentially spend less, and sell more.
Herein lies our strengths. We spend considerable time ensuring that we know exactly who you are trying to reach, understanding the customer that buys your product or service and where they spend your time. It is at that point, that we develop, present, deploy and monitor a custom tailored marketing plan built specifically for you and your business.
Research & Analysis
Final Thoughts & Conclusion
So should you focus on traditional media instead of digital media? Not exactly. You should consider both types of media to make the most of your marketing initiatives. Today, consumers use an average of almost six touch-points when buying an item. The touch-points may include both traditional and digital.
This means you need to provide a consistent customer journey through every touch-point including your Instagram posts, website, customer service, physical shop and so on – meaning you might want to think of it more holistically than focusing on one medium or two.
